Operasi Memburu Punai
Punai?... what punai?.... 
We called this bird as “burung punai“.
This is my next activitity after fishing at Pulau Bidan. Last time, they managed to catched about 25 burung punai. The taste of it is very nice… macam rasa burung wak-wak pun ada!. So this time i wanna feel how to catch this bird. Errr.. this is protected bird in Malaysia, so we need a legal license to hunter it
To catch this bird we need as much people as possible. At least 10 people.. We need to study their route so that we can pasang the jerat in the middle… The technique is simple, once we saw the bird fly, we just baling kayu to them, so they will straightly fly-down to the jungle. If we’re lucky, they will hit the net. Normally they will fly in group (10-20 per group). The best time to hunter it is around 6pm – 7pm when they start going back to their places which they will used same route to fly.

We only use 2 net which it’s actually not enough. After survey the best location, we finally decided to put the nets in between of their routes. I was thinking that tonight i will celebrate kaw-kaw the kerapu and punai together. Makan sampai puas!.

Tunggu punya tunggu…punya tunggu!.. at last habuk pun tarakk.. 
No luck today.. most of the birds take other route! So, after an hour, we decided to cabut.
Gambar burung tarak! gambar kerbau pun Ok la…
On the way back! i meet another friends who are going to shoot “Kuang bird”. They brought 2 senapang patah. So i join them la shooting the bird. Short story, they managed to shoot 3 bird that day after spending almost 30 bullets.. hahaha Memang tak berbaloi!

hmmmm… takpe la, biarkan aje burung2 tu hidup… lagipun, dah namenyer protected spesies, maksudnya dah hampir pupus..
kalau setiap org kat Malaysia tangkap seekor, pupus la spesies tu…
ini pendapat sy, kalau nak makan, beli aje ayam atau burung puyuh kat kedai… tak berbaloi hilang warisan bumi semata2 nak memuaskan nafsu makan…

jgn nak menipu .. mana ada permit utk menjaring burung punai? kalau tembak punai tu dari 01sept smpai 30sept setiap tahun je. itu pn dah 4 thn kami tak buka. tunjuk je gambar burung punai kena jaring pn dah satu kesalahan.harap maklum
