A weekend museum & zoo visit!

Saturday
Nothing much activities this weekend. Just went to a Houston Museum and Zoo. :) what??... ZOO? heheh!
Actually we planned to go to corpus christi or dallas but we changed the plan. So, this week just go somewhere nearby in our area.

1st, We went to Houston Museum Of Natural Science. I like it, but special exibitions are usually too expensive and not worth it… it cost around 25 bucks a person…so we just take a basic package (8.50) that allowed us to tour limited area only! OK la…

Having lunch at Thai restaurant. WOW! feel like in malaysia. The taste of tomyam is really2 good and spicy!... i took two bowl of tomyam. 2 thumb up! Still early to go back to apartment, so we deciced to go to Houston zoo. And as expected all zoo’s does the same thing.. frustrated coz i cannot see the gorilla :P and seriously if you go there you notice that the people are uglier than the animals. it also smells.

The only thing i like in this zoo

Next, we went to The Galleria ( the biggest shopping center in houston ) ..err actually the most expensive shopping center :P . Honestly, it’s just a mall. But it’s a really terrific one. It doesn’t have a movie theater but it has an iceskating rink. It doesn’t have great prices most of the time, but it has great selection of stores. It’s a great place if you enjoy the consumer thing.

Drop by at Malay Cafe for dinner before going back to apartment and zzzZZZ.. too tired!
